Cherish Hadley-Njewel was raised in the Midwest, having lived in Minnesota and Iowa. She graduated from Redwood Valley High School in Redwood Falls, Minnesota in 1999. Cherish went on to attend the University of Iowa where she was a Division I student-athlete on the Rowing Team and received the Student Athlete Academic Excellence Award. She then graduated a semester early from The University of Iowa in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Art. From 2003 to 2005 Cherish worked with Wells Fargo Financial helping consumers who were having trouble making their mortgage payments. In 2005 Cherish attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach. Cherish was then admitted to practice law in Virginia in 2008.
After passing the bar, Cherish focused her legal career in the areas of Business Contracts and Traffic and Civil Litigation. Shortly thereafter, Cherish was hired by Livesay and Myers, P.C. where she focused on and built her knowledge in Family Law, more specifically, in Divorce, Military Divorce, Custody, Support, and Visitation. Cherish is an active member of the Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all state courts of Virginia and the Eastern District and Western District Federal Courts of Virginia. In 2010 she joined the Law Offices of Daniel J Miller. She currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband Jay, son Braedon, and daughter Mylah.
