What do I do if an Officer stops me?
  1. When pulled over in your vehicle always ask why you were stopped. Failure to stop a vehicle without probable cause or reasonable suspicion constitutes an unreasonable seizure in violation of your legal rights.

  2. No matter how busted you think you are, never consent to allowing the officer to search your vehicle or home. All individuals have a right to be free from "unreasonable" searches and seizures. Tell the officer that unless they have a search warrant it is going to be without your consent.
